Here are some pics from todays action. Noticed a cell creeping towards the coast at Ballina, this is what it looked like at South Lismore

With one last check of the radar I bundled the kids and camera gear in the car and headed off to a lookout at Ballina to try my luck. The cell was sitting about 30km offshore and the bolts were infrequent so it was hard to know where to point the camera at times. Anyway here's the best of them

Spewing this one blew out….there were a few others like this. There is some ghosting of the sensor that you can see that might indicate what the bolt may have looked like.
