A line of storms with lightning developed from the northwest and past through Sydney this afternoon. Some close lightning observed including this one to the north of Acacia Gardens!
No hail was observed but some heavy rain occurred for up to several minutes. Gusty winds also were a feature with the storm as it passed through!

The storm that came into Parramatta from the NW over the Blacktown area around 2pm intensified showing some nice structure including a wall cloud type feature with detached roll cloud . 2nd frame shows an inflow feature from the SW before the storm lost structure and gusted out overhead heading east.
Structure before the rain hit. Great features for an April storm.
