I have had some half decent chases of late despite the poor shear aloft. One of the best days with just slightly improved shear within the period was the 19th November chase event listed at the following link:

Two magnificent surprise storms coming within the Mt Victoria and Lithgow regions. I observed 4 consecutive days of hailstones although this was one of the better days with hail to about 2cm in diameter where I was with respect to the storm. There have been minor hail drifts as well. Contemplating whether I will be lured back to the chase over the next few days hmmm. Fuel prices are through the roof at the moment.
