I was staying with my girlfriend for a weekend getaway a Pokolbin. We endured a 44 degree day on Saturday.. was hotter than the previous Tuesday! The pool was used adequately. To my surprise an extremely lightning active storm formed during the evening.. putting on the best CG display I have seen in 4-5 years. I saw countless amounts of CG's, most of amazing quality, with some pulsing up to 8 times. If only I had brought the video camera. I had the SLR and managed around 10 daytime strikes from pure reflex.. considering I have only gotten one the past 2 years gives insight as to how active it was!
Hi Ben, you did well with the lightning bolts – 10 day time bolts is a big deal! The pulsing would have helped too! I like the purple reflection of the base in the second picture! Did anyone chase the Hunter today – 13th January?
