Death Toll rises as floods affect 50 Brisbane suburbs

Although the flood peak has been reached below the 1974 devastating flood peak, more than 50 suburbs of the Queensland capital city have been partially or majorly affected by flooding.

The incredible flash flood event that unfolded though is in the Grantham and Murphys Creek region. The following footage shows the ferocity of the deluge and resulting violent flash flood.
