Yes - certainly the most widespread flooding event in quite some time. About an 800km stretch of East Coast was affected. In some of the pics you will see caravans caught in the flood waters - this is in the most flood prone part of Lismore but there is some ongoing argument about why the residents were not evacuated in time.
