Severe Weather Warning for heavy rain which may lead to flash flooding about the southeast and east coasts.
Weather Situation
A broad trough currently lies over Tasmania with high pressure systems to the west and southeast.
Thunderstorms and heavy showers which may lead to flash flooding are forecast for parts of the East Coast and South East forecast districts.
102mm of rain has been reported at Copping to 4:30am and 42mm at Dunalley, with 49mm at Lesley Vale to 2am and 38mm at Kingston.

156mm at Eagle Hawk Neck (near Port Arthur) is very impressive.
The models did not pick up this disturbance at all.
