Heat Wave in South Australia and Victoria January 15th 2014

The heat wave continues as the heat now is situated in South Australia and Victoria. Bushfires have roared across parts of both states with more lightning strikes from storms this afternoon creating more issues for fire fighters. The lack of rainfall across the country have made it extremely dry and this now poses extreme fire conditions in southern Australia as wind increases prior the next change. Temperatures into the low to mid- 40C  range were common in many locations
