Another strong inversion and temperatures struggling to rise at Penrith 29th December 2019

· by Jimmy Deguara

Another strong inversion and temperatures struggling to rise at Penrith! Into the 40C mark in the Hunter. Temperatures are higher in the Blue Mountains.

Smoke was thick this morning in Penrith – question is is the inversion causing this or is the combination once again not allowing direct sensible heat to overcome this inversion! Anybody?
