To 3 pm this afternoon Darwin has had 815.0 mm this month - breaking the previous record for February set in 1969.
Their total for the "wet" season – October to April has reached 2198 mm – already the 4th highest and the highest since 1999-2000 and there is still 2.5 months to go! Darwin had 2499.4 mm in the 1997-98 wet season.
