Ha this is my it’s not a tornado, tornado. We saw it from the other side it was very faint I thought it was a hail shaft and told David who I was travelling with not to keep filming it. This will be on my gravestone.
Remember it well Jimmy. Was my first US tornado. A memorable one at that!
Unfortunately many chasers were cut off due debris from a house and road closure on route 160 if I recall. Going around other routes would take some time and tornadoes were being produced in the process by the associated cyclic supercell. And of course the hail bombs to 5.25inches in diameter being produced presented yet another obstacle
