Has anyone seen this and fo they think this is where the fire scale may have come from? I may be embarrassing myself as i have not read the document

Jimmy, are you still trying to work out the catastrophic warning origin?
It’s one thing that has shocked me over the last day is that many people in NSW had never heard of it considering its been in use since 2009.
It came about from a recommendation out of the Black Saturday enquiry. All states agreed on the same system of warnings.
Certainly in VIC and SA you see it in use at least a handful of times every summer in some fire districts so maybe that is why we certainly haven’t had the similar qualms about its use as people over there seemed to have today…

I reckon if you contacted the author of the 2914 review paper at the uni you would be able to get that info Jimmy Deguara
