As part of a multi-day storm chase, this was a spectacular way to enjoy the Australian landscape - the vast flat barren landscape with spectacular rotating storms.
The first storms developed further east during the morning but the afternoon saw the dryline put up possible supercells but definitely explosive rotating structures. Hail was a plenty but you couldn't go past the sunset timelapse later in the day - a welcome sight after an arduous journey north.
