Hailstorms in the Central Tablelands starting from an intense hailstorm at Sunny Corner with hail lasting about 20 minutes or so. We then ended up through to Portland and finally Ilford region. Some spectacular photographs included! In true form, I once again thank Colin Bryant for chasing with me and helping with the driving.

Just about every storm we went under produced hail yesterday – obviously some more intense Kandos and Sunny Corner but also one at Oberon area
Some nice storms and hail on offer for you guys with some good hail accumulations under some of the storms. Did you observe much cg lightning? Our storm further south produced very little sadly
We did not see much lightning but it was very active in Weatherzone core lightning the later ones were lightning active!
Yes I heard reports of some very active lightning out Orange way after dark!!
Storms west of Bathurst were higher based – lapse rates were steep
