One of the big time events. After a period where storm chasing was not going to plan nailed this one perfectly.

30 minutes of hail

West of Ebor mid afternoon. The storm developed ESE of Armidale and moved generally ENE until it got close to my position – then made a move north! Supercell behaviour. The storm had a nice base with green tinge evident. It produced hailstones to 6cm from what I could gather and it seemed to be about a 10km wide swathe.
