Great pictures, although a potential bad situation. Nice pyrocumulus.
Excellent photos but frightening in a sense too. My brother is out fighting the big blaze at Batemans Bay and thus such scenes are playing out right along the eastern part of the state. We were at Warragamba Dam last Saturday and could see the plume from the dam wall. Now I am aware that fire has jumped the water body as it continues east. That is a serious fire too. I am reading that the second half of summer should see some rains return thus helping the situation but that is a number of weeks away.
