For those lightning lovers – here is the video stills of the tree getting hit! I thought I totally missed it! With extremely dangerous and frequent lightning, it was inevitable that one or two would strike nearby. This particular strike was in an active area of 3 or 4 lightning strikes from the anvil of the supercell!
