So yesterday afternoon, a nice little storm front approached from the west, but didn't really pack any action. It rained for about 1 minute only lightly.
When the storm was overhead, I got a couple pictures of some Mammatus Cloud, the camera didnt really show the detail all that well but you get the idea...
Then after a few hours of calm, midnight was approaching and so was the massive storm over all of SE Australia... On the radar it was measuring roughly 500km x 500km, but probably a group of cells. Either way, it brought some rain along with it, after midnight the rain stopped but a great lightning show occured until about 2am which I got my first ever lightning pictures with, which was pretty damn awesome!
