The mountain range here in Cebu probably rise to 700 metres (estimated). It’s orientation tends to encourage similar development of cumulus and cumulonimbus with showers and occasional storms late. It seems this is due to convergence and obviously forced orographic uplift - scud condensation of moisture lowering based locally.
