Severe storms in Central Sydney 26th January 2020
A hot and very humid day with storms initially on the mountains and then cells developing near Wollongong. More cells developed near Richmond and drifted further towards Glenorie.
What took my attention was a line of solid cumulus in central western Sydney along some boundary. they developed rapidly and then produced very heavy rainfall. A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for these cells that eventually lined out and weakened.
