Severe Storms and Supercells Sydney and Southern Tablelands
First cells came through near southern tablelands by 1pm and then headed for Nowra. That cell exploded with another complex line of severe cells approaching Bowral. Once this headed east, it was time to head towards Sydney. Another cell had developed near Blackheath. This cell was rapidly slipping southeast and then it organised into a supercell west of Camden and pummeled parts of Campbelltown. Measurerd hailstones were up to 6cm but the storm rapidly headed east. Another a cell or two approached Appin but a major cell crept into western Sydney and this time exploded west of Liverpool and raced towards Sutherland! All in all an active day of cells! Hail was measured up to 6cm in Campbelltown
