After extensive heavy rainfall, much of the Queensland Coast have experienced flooding particularly the central coastal region with township of Bundberg amongst the worst hit region and Townsville placed on alert. The Bruce Highwaynear Ingham is cut with only trucks allowed to pass through. More heavy rainfall is anticipated in the area.
