Queensland Flood Crisis – Worst floods in over 100 years – January 2011

It is now believe that the area of flood coverage across Queesland is approximately the size of the state of New South Wales!  And besides the fact that many parts of Queensland area seeing the floods peaking, more rain is falling or expected to fall in south east Queensland over the next 2 days. Regions from Bundaberg, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Emerald, Dalby are amongst a few of 50 townships affected by the floods in 2011.

This flood crisis is possibly the worst in living memory and the cost will be in the billions.
