And so the rain continues with some substantial falls across the region. It seems instability across the Hunter Region should see storms developing and these storms should move south as a rain band into the Central Coast region during today. As a result, more heavy falls at times could be expected as easterly winds pump moisture into the system. A low pressure system should develop near Newcastle and intensify tonight as an east coast low.
