Michael,
A lenticularis veil dominates the sky today with moderate westerly winds. High based clouds with no hints of lower level clouds says it all - dry! I don't think it will be long when the undergrowth dries out and bushfire dangers will be on the rise. The temperatures have been mild though not warm. So you not wanting to have a dig at the long range - even just a feel for it - come on Michael:) What's it going to be? You think October will be the saviour this year? What happened to that system due on the weekend?
Jimmy
