Yes the lack of pictures from those who claim classic supercell is frustrating but what is new about all the claims. The storm was high based to say the least, outflow dominant and also you could see through the precipitation in the photographs. We'll see what eventuates in the analyses. I am awaiting radar from Harald Richter who could confirm otherwise. He did suggest there were two supercells he picked up from the high resolution scans.
Raining all day today which is awesome and it seems to have gone well inland in some areas! The catchment at least got the deluge which should help recover some of the storage levels.
