Some may recall the Muswellbrook surprise cell from 22nd December 2021 last week. Finally was able to get to editing them - unfortanately some wrong settings focus left manual whilst in motion. I hope you enjoy
though briefly interesting behavior also captured from the east by Michael Keene. I was working so not availble for a full chase mode.Note possible mesocyclone behaviour and a curtain of precipitation wrapping around - I simply had not too many options to stop.
Got hailed on but had to get back to base so wasn’t able to enjoy. Definitely a severe storm

Was a beauty of a cell that’s for sure. Sucks I came in from the east and it had hardly if any structure visible. Wont complain with the backside lightning barrage that was to keep me well entertained for a little while.

Its awesome seeing your angle on things, very nice shots! Definitely would have been fascinating to see timelapse from your side. very nice storm, and you even caught a bolt which is not surprising given how active the bolts were!
They look really nice! I use to live in Muswellbrook and the storms were always awesome.
