Whilst most of the country has been sweltering, Tasmania has had cool to cold conditions particularly in the highlands with heavy rainfall. Some rainfall totals after the past week have exceeded 100mm in the south west of Tasmania with some locations exceeding 150mm. And the models are suggesting more showers with more extensive rainfall again this weekend.
